William Alfano, beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away on April 2, 2025, at his home in Green Valley, AZ, surrounded by his immediate family. He was 77 years old.
A devoted father to his son and daughter, and a loving husband, William was known for his empathy, warmth, and the genuine care he showed for everyone he met. He had a special gift for making others feel welcomed and comfortable, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Throughout the latter half of his life, William faced several health challenges but never lost his strength and determination. His unwavering resilience and commitment to his family were an inspiration to all.
Professionally, William worked as a carpenter, in custodial services, and in sales. But beyond his career, he was a man of many talents and passions. He was an artist, musician, poet, historian, and storyteller. His creativity and love for the arts were ever-present in his life.
A lifelong lover of Westerns, William was also a passionate collector of knives. He had an appreciation for good food and cherished time spent with family and friends, enjoying their company and creating lasting memories.
Born on November 19, 1947, in New Jersey, William later moved to Southern California, where he spent most of his life before relocating to Arizona seven years ago. His final years in Green Valley were filled with the love and support of those closest to him.
William leaves behind a rich legacy of love, creativity, and a deep commitment to his family. He will be forever remembered by his wife, children, extended family, and friends. His memory will live on in the stories he told, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
