Victor Juan Cannon

Victor Juan Cannon was born on February 28, 1978, to Thomas and Sylvia Cannon, Sr. in Nashville, Tennessee.

Victor grew up in church and dedicated his life to the Lord in 2017. His love for God was evident in his daily life—he often fell asleep listening to sermons or the audio Bible, finding peace and comfort in the Word.

A man of many gifts, Victor was both talented and quick to learn. He expressed his creativity through music, especially rapping, and was known for his sharp wit and easygoing spirit. Victor had a heart as big as his smile—he cared deeply for everyone he met and never hesitated to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his artistic talents, Victor was an excellent chef and skilled carpenter. Above all, he was a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle. To those who loved him, he was known affectionately as “Quill,” “Jack Johnson,” or simply “Vic.”

Victor’s warmth and personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His favorite greeting, “Hey hey,” and one of his favorite phrases, “I can dig it,” reflected his cheerful spirit and down-to-earth nature.

Victor leaves behind two beloved daughters, Avionna Sullivan and Nevaeh Conner; his twin brother, Vanoy (Kim) Cannon; brother, Thomas Cannon, Jr.; and sister, Dr. Kahala Cannon. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted nephew and niece, Andre Cannon and Indiya Cannon; as well as close friends, Derick Rodgers, Lisa Hurt, and Deanna Sullivan, and a host of relatives and friends.

Victor’s kindness, faith, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
