Verla Mable Ferguson

On December 1st, 2025, Verla Mable Ferguson, received her Heavenly Wings at the age of 107. She was born in Muskegon, MI moving to Tucson in 1944. She was so proud of her family (LeeAnn-Phoenix, Hugh-Coolidge, Paul, Dawn-Tucson) from which grew 8 grands, 14 great-grands, and 1 great-great-grand.

She worked as a hairdresser into her 70’s then moved to Roosevelt Lake for several years to go fishing every chance she got. Verla was loved by so many people because she loved being social and active. She was celebrated at the "Salute to Centenarians" program for several years. She participated in Silver Sneakers Classes, Aviva’s Divas-crocheting hats and Afghans for children, and multiple activities at Udall Senior Center, with that mischievous sense of humor ever present.

Verla will truly be missed! A Celebration of Verla’s Life will be announced for Mid January.
