Timothy Eugene Richard was born on March 20, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Lynn Bonamy. He was the first born of 2 children.
He was raised in a loving, Christian home and always exhibited his love for Jesus Christ from a toddler until the day he went home to be with the Lord. He spent the first half of his life as a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois, under the leadership of Reverend Gordon A. Humphrey, Sr. He spent the latter half of his life at Calvary Evangelistic Center in Tucson, Arizona under the leadership of Reverend Maynard Weisbrod.
Although Tim never “officially” joined his home church choirs, we have fond memories of him standing at the direction of the choir directors to sing along with the choir from his seat in the audience. He enjoyed playing his tambourine while rocking and singing God’s praises with the choir every Sunday.
Tim was no stranger to giving and receiving love because he loved and captured the hearts of everyone with whom he came into contact.
We thank God that Tim had a rich life from which he leaves behind his mother, Lynn Bonamy; his sister, Edwina Wright; 2 nephews, Gabriel Wright and Myles Wright; his brother-in-law, Dwight Wright; his extended family, LC and Michelle Robinson and their children, Jeremiah, Yisrael, Sophia, Michael, Jaedon, Ja’Len, Marketis, Aaliyah, Enee, and Joy; a host of cousins including Brittani Warren and her son, Brayden Lee; and many dear friends.
Poem to Timmy
We think about you always,
We talk about you still,
You have never been forgotten,
And you never will,
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
For us to continue to love on you,
Until, in Heaven, we meet again.
See you later, Tim! We love you!
