Timothy Gerald Becker

Timothy Gerald Becker left this world all too suddenly on January 26, 2025 at the age of 57. Timothy was born in Puyallup Washington on November 20, 1967 to loving parents, Gerald and Beatrice (McGlothlen) Becker. Timmy was the little brother we had hoped for and completed our family of five. Timmy spent his first four years growing up next to our grandparents, Nicholas and Bernice (Geisert) Becker, who showered us with love. In the summer of 1972, we moved to Tucson, Arizona where Tim attended Flowing Wells Schools. Tim participated in baseball, , football, body building and was on the swim team. Our dad taught him how to play the drums. Tim graduated from Amphitheatre High School in 1986 and began working in the restaurant industry full time. He moved back to Washington when he was 19 for a job at the Paradise Inn at Paradise Ski Resort on Mount Rainier. He loved the Northwest so much that he decided to stay for a while. The following summer, he hired on as a cook on board a salmon boat in Alaska. Tim had a true passion for cooking and so he spent the next 15 years honing his craft as a Chef. Chef Tim mastered Italian cuisine at Il Terrazo Carmine in Seattle and Steak and Seafood at The Cliff House in Tacoma. He also lived in Chico California, Rancho Cucamonga and Reno Nevada before returning to Tucson in 2008.

Once back in Tucson, he was hired as Executive Chef to open Harvest Restaurant where he was part of the winning Iron Chef Tucson team in 2009. About 10 years ago, Tim decided to take a break from cooking and started his own business (Muscleman Maintenance) providing demolition and roof coating. He had a reputation for being reliable, reasonably priced and always stood by his work. Tim had many repeat customers who loved working with him. Tim had an outgoing and confident personality that was defined by his passionate, generous, kind, and loving nature. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Morgan Becker. Tim is survived by his mother, Beatrice Becker, sisters Cheryle June (Alan) and Patti Becker (Jordan), Niece Kristin Oberdries (Mark), nephews Bradley Jones (Karla), Matthew Alimena (Myra), Michael Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, Nicholas Alimena (Amanda), 4 great nieces and 2 great nephews, numerous cousins and extended family members.
