Stone boy passed away in The City of South Tucson, AZ on July 4th 2025.StoneBoy was a very loving and kind man with a heart of gold. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and many times would even give away his last dollar to help another person in need. Even if he was struggling himself, he would always at least share whatever he had with anyone else in need as well. when Stone boy worked, it was always in the construction field, and he was a very hard worker when he took on a job. Stone boys, favorite part of construction work was in the demolition field. He would joke around about demolition work being a great stress reliever, a good way to blow off steam and a positive way to deal with anger. He loved to get paid for tearing walls down and knocking the entire inside of a building down. He used to say it felt good to get paid for tearing stuff up instead of get arrested for it and then he would laugh. He also said it was a great way to stay in shape because it was like an all day workout for the mind and body. Stone boy was very protective over people he cared for and always stood up for them whenever they needed him. He made sure no one hurt the people he loved. Unfortunately, Stone boy suffered many tragedies starting from a very young age, which caused him to have to live with many demons. Because he didn’t really know how to deal with the demons he just lived with them until they finally took him down a path of self-destruction and began self medicating with alcohol and drugs which became a serious addiction. He managed to get sober several times but the demons he lived with always seemed to take him right down that same path of addiction that he ended up losing control over. He finally lost his battle with addiction on July 4, 2025 at 10:47 PM when he was found deceased from an accidental drug overdose. Stone boy is now free from the chains of addiction that bound him so tightly. He is finally free from the pain he suffered physically, mentally and emotionally. Now he can finally rest in peace. He is survived by his wife, Julie LaRoque, his daughter Aiyana Laroque, his daughter‘s mother Misty Salas, his stepchildren, Michael, Shani and Kira Kirk and Marisella Madrid, his father and step mother Mr and Mrs. Don LaRoque, his mother Ruby Brown, his sisters Theresa LaRoque and Deanna Brown , and many other half siblings, nieces, nephews and lots more extended family members and friends whom he also considered his family. Stone boy will forever be in our hearts and will be missed terribly by all whose lives he touched in so many different ways. May he forever rest in peace. We will see him again on the other side!
