Steven Merle Schrepfer Jr.

Steven Merle Schrepfer, lovingly known as “JR” of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on May 2nd, 2025, at the age of 33. A beloved father, son, and brother, Steven’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Steven was the cherished son of Steven and Sandra Schrepfer, and the oldest brother to Konor, Brock, and Tanner Schrepfer.

A proud graduate of Ironwood Ridge High School, Steven was an innovative thinker, passionate about creativity, and infamously loved shopping for “trinkets.” His greatest passion, however, was his devotion as a father to his beautiful daughter, who was the light of his life.

Professionally, Steven was entrenched in the funeral home business, where he found fulfillment in providing care and solace to families during their most difficult times. Known for his caring, giving, and compassionate nature, Steven’s work was more than a career— it was a calling. Even in the face of life’s challenges, Steven remained a hard worker who never complained and faced each day with a smile.

Steven’s memory will forever reside in the hearts and minds of those who had the privilege of knowing him preserving his legacy of hope, kindness, and organ donation.

A memorial service for Steven Merle Schrepfer Jr will be held on May 22nd, 2025, at 3:00pm at Northwest Community Friends Church, 5950 N La Cañada Dr, Tucson, Arizona 85704. Family, friends, and all whose lives Steven touched are welcome to join celebrating his life.
