Scott Russell Hurt

Scott Hurt, age 41, passed peacefully on October 6, 2025 from heart failure. A survivor of addiction, he was known for his strength in overcoming obstacles and served as an inspiration for others. Scott was loved by everyone whom had the pleasure of deeply knowing him and will truly be missed. 

He is survived by his wife Juanita Hurt and his daughters Lexi and Abigail as well as his son, David. Scott also leaves behind his parents  Linda and David Ellis, Michael and Diana Hurt; siblings Tabetha Finchum (née Hurt), Christopher Ellis, Dale Watkins, Keith Watkins, and Kyle  Watkins. Preceded in death by brother Lee Ellis. 

Though Scott is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who loved  him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
