Rosa M. McMillan
August 14, 1957-October 13, 2025
Our family’s hearts are broken as we say goodbye to Rosa “Rosie” McMillan, who left this world peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with bile duct cancer.
Rosie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Roman and Socorro Rodriguez. Rosie was a loving mother to her children Sean (Christine, 2015) Gladden and Linda (Angel Martinez) McMillan. She cherished her granddaughters Mckenna Carroll, Monique Valenzuela, Ariana Bettini, and great grandchildren Miliana Valdez and Kashton Carroll. Rosie had endless pride in her children and grandchildren, loving them with every ounce of her heart. Her love and warmth will continue to live on through each of them.
She also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and siblings whom she cared for deeply. She found companionship with her furry friend Milo.
Rosie was fun, loving, and free-spirited. She had a joy for life that radiated to everyone around her. She loved to travel; beach destinations were her favorite. She cherished the times she spent with family in Mexico, where she made unforgettable memories filled with laughter, music, and dancing. Dancing was one of her greatest joys and she never missed a chance to share that joy with those she loved. Rosie also shared a love for the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed cheering them on every chance she got.
Her spirit was truly one of a kind, she was full of life, strength, and love. Rosie’s memory will forever be carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave. Her smile and laugh will be forever missed.
