Ronald Earl Jones

Ronald Earl Jones departed his earthly life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona. He was born in Costa Rica on March 12, 1955. He was a graduate of Pasadena High School and Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California. He served in the U.S. Air Force for many years and fought in the Gulf War. During his time in the military, he focused on schooling and making a better life for his family.

Ronald enjoyed listening to oldies such as Julio Iglesias and Al Green, watching and attending sports games, and being around those who cared for him. He always lived life to his own accord no matter the outcome. He was outspoken, humorous, stubborn as all could be, but very loving as well. He enjoyed waking up early, doing yard work and playing with his dogs. He loved his grandson and watching him grow up was one of the joys in his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Madrona, and two daughters, Nathalie and Julie; brother Joel (Pam) Maxwell, sisters Sandra Maria (Johnny) Robinson, Dorothy Burkett, Norma Patterson, Lastenia McDonald, and Doroti Guanabana; one grandson, and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Maxwell, and mother, Estella Jones.
