Raul Bustamante

June 17, 1943 — November 2, 2025

In memory of Raul Bustamante, To the beautiful soul of Raul,

You were so much to so many—Husband to Elvia, Father to Raul Jr. Steve, Deborah, and Danny. You were Brother and Uncle, Grandfather and Grandpa, extending your love across generations to grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who were blessed to know you. But perhaps most simply and most powerfully, you were Friend to all who had the grace to meet you.

Your life was lived with a fullness that so few achieve. You didn't just exist in this world—you loved life. You loved your family with every fiber of your being, pouring your whole heart into every relationship, never holding back, never measuring what you gave. People who met you once became your friend not because you asked it of them, but because your authentic kindness and genuine acceptance made them feel truly seen and valued. You had a gift for making everyone feel like they belonged in your presence.

Now, when we look to the sky and see an eagle soar, we see you—your soul set free, liberated into the spiritual realm where your essence continues to shine eternally.[1][2] The eagle is more than a symbol; it is a spiritual messenger of strength, divine vision, and freedom of the soul.[2] It embodies spiritual strength, renewal, and God's divine protection,[1] just as your memory embodies all the love you gave us. As that eagle soars high above, it carries with it the freedom in Christ and the spiritual leadership that defined your life.[1]

You have left this earthly life, but you will always remain in our hearts. Watch over us, Raul. Guide us with the same wholehearted love you gave so freely while you walked among us. Your beautiful soul, set free and soaring, will forever be the eagle we look for in the sky—a eternal reminder that true love, authentic connection, and a life lived fully never truly leave us.

We love you and honor your memory always.
