We are sad to announce the passing of Ragan Girard Hatcher, 67, who died on March 26, 2024, at home in Tucson, Arizona with his loving wife, Toni by his side.

Ragan was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Leroy Hatcher and Anna May Hatcher, brothers, Ron, Ralph, Roger & daughter Kendra Kay.

He is survived by his wife Toni Hatcher, brothers Randy & Rex, sister Lisa Sato (Husband Kazuhiko), brother-in-law Kenneth Eric (Wife, Jill), sons Joseph Eric (Wife, Shelly), Ragan O’Neil (Wife, Janet) daughters, Jamie Lynn Kaufmann, (Husband, Jeff) & Ashley Noel Turner (Husband, Chad), grandchildren Blake, Miles, Josie, Rowan, Graham, Jensyn, Maverick, & numerous nieces and nephews.

Ragan was born on December 11th, 1956, in Springfield, Illinois, attending Southeast High school where he was on the wrestling and swim teams. When Ragan was 18, he started his own steam cleaning business, growing it to ultimately do work in 47 states.

Ragan and Toni relocated to Tucson, Arizona in 2001, where he continued his business, proudly working for companies such as the U of A and Davis-Monthan Air Force base.

Ragan was a wonderful man who enjoyed sharing the Gospel of Christ and the simple things in life, such as volunteering to dress up as the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus for the residents at Sabino Canyon Rehab & Care Center, enjoying a prime rib at the Silver Saddle Steakhouse or a plate of homemade Enchiladas made by a dear friend.

Ragan was a friend to everyone he met and would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar, he loved to talk and tell stories, but the favorite story Ragan would tell to anyone who would listen, including complete strangers, was his and Toni’s love story, a love story that lasted for over 37 years, which began with “Love at first sight”.

On March 26, 2024, we lost an incredible man and Heaven gained a humble servant. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
