Oscar Martinez Subia, 64, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2025, at his home in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on February 27,1961, in Big Spring, Texas, to Margarita Martinez Subia and Manuel Mendoza Subia. Oscar lived a blessed life with his loving life partner of 48 years, Lucia M. Subia. Together, they made their home in Odessa, Texas, where they raised three children before later moving to Tucson, Arizona, where their family continued to grow. Oscar had a deep passion for art — he loved to draw, engrave, and tattoo. He also had a lifelong love for lowriders and proudly owned several throughout his life. Oscar was known for his creativity, his warmth, and his ability to bring joy to everyone around him. He was loved by many family members and friends and will forever live in our hearts. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Lucia M. Subia; his children, Oscar M. Subia Jr., Audrey M. Subia, and Emmanuel M. Subia; daughters-in-law,

Melissa Subia and Vanessa Subia; and six cherished grandchildren: Arianna Thomsen, Lilliana, Lanessa, Leila, Samuel Santos, and Neveah Subia. He is also survived by his sisters Juana Levario, Elena Rojo, Catalina Jaquez, Ramona Orona, and Margarita Subia. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Margarita Subia, and his brother, Frankie Subia.

Memorial Service Saturday, October 25, 2025 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
