Olivia Torres

Olivia Torres 74 Earned her wings and went to be with our Lord on May 16, 2025 after a courageous battle with dementia. Olivia was a native of Tucson, AZ where she spent all her life. She retired from Raytheon Aerospace where she was an assembly worker. She enjoyed parrots, especially her former Parrots named Scooter and Cisco. They were her pride and joy. They were her special family, birds she had for over 25 years. She taught Scooter how to dance and talk. She enjoyed spending fun loving time with her grandkids and enjoyed fixing their favorite meals, such as taco Tuesday and lazy tacos, so good. She was a very loving person who opened her doors to many who had no home or needed to get back on their feet. She enjoyed walking and staying healthy. She loved praying the rosary every day for her family and the sick. She enjoyed Football, her favorite team being the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite color was blue so in her honor let’s wear the color blue. Olivia is preceded in death by her Mother, Nellie T. Moreno, her son Frank T. Valenzuela, four brothers, Jose M, Moreno, Robert A. Torres Sr., Richard M. Torres, Ralph B. Torres, and Baby Sister Mary Torres Granillo. She is survived by her sons, Joseph G. Valenzuela (Stephanie), and Raymond Valenzuela. Two brothers, Armando Torres, and Manuel Torres (Mary),and two sisters, Angie Torres Granillo (Emi) and Jenny Torres Roman. Ten grandkids, and three great-grandchildren. Many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. A private family viewing will be held for Olivia on May 29, 2025 at Avenidad Mortuary. Inurnment will be celebrated with a memorial and mass at a later date at South lawn cemetery Tucson, AZ. We would like to thank the TMC ICU Medical Team that took care of Olivia.
