Olga M Madrid

Olga M. Madrid passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2025. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in September 2024. Unfortunately it took her life rapidly. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Alicia Cruz, brothers Ralph (Guacho) Cruz and John David Gonzales. Olga is survived not only by her sister Diane and her partner Maggie. But also by her children Oscar A Madrid and Elvira Ortiz with her husband Jose. Her grandchildren Analysa Madrid, Jose Gonzales Jr, Margarita Concepcion, and Diego Madrid.

Olga was a homemaker, Caregiver, babysitter and a very good cook. Her specialties were tortillas, tamales, and her famous thanksgiving dressing. She lived a very simple life. 

Our family would like to thank Raymond Torres. He is a great example when it came to keeping the family together. He is a great cousin, Uncle and father figure to all. Thank you for everything you have done for us. Words can't our gratitude. We love you.  

We would also like to thank the staff at University of Arizona Banner ICU unit. We also wanted to thank Banner Cancer and Oncology Team.

Although she will be greatly missed it brings us comfort knowing she is reunited with her mother and loved ones.  She is at peace.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church May 27th, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Holy hope cemetery directly after. Then a Celebration of Life will be held at American Eat Company.
