Maurice Louis Albert

Maurice Louis Albert (Tucson, AZ), age 95, passed away peacefully following an illness.

Born June 13, 1930, in Fitchburg, MA, He was the son of the late Arthur and Laura (Bardier) Albert.

Maurice attended Fitchburg schools and graduated from Leominster High School. He lived in Fitchburg and later Leominster for many years, before sharing his time with his children in Fitchburg, Tucson AZ and Oxnard California.

Maurice worked alongside his brother at Dick's Texaco Station in Fitchburg and later at Eusey Press before retiring to care for his beloved wife, Pauline (Gagne), with whom he shared 39 years of marriage until her passing in 1993.

Maurice is survived by his children: Brian Albert (Tucson, AZ); Edward Albert and his wife Cindy (Leominster, MA); Karen Duplease and her husband Bill (Goodyear, AZ); Mark Albert (Puerto Penasco, Mexico );Bruce Albert and his wife Becky (Lake Orion, MI). He was predeceased by his son, Wayne Albert (July 21, 2025); his siblings Richard, Rene, and Florence (Gonynor) Albert. Maurice leaves behind eight grandchildren—Nicholas, Ryan, Laura, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Bianka, Stephen—and three great-grandchildren: Nicholas Jr., Jackson, and Kaia.

The family will honor Maurice’s life privately, with arrangements to follow at their discretion. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Maurice are invited to reflect through acts of kindness or charitable contributions in his memory.
