Mary was known as nana to many, even to the people she was not related to, they saw her as nana as well as their grandmother because she just had that special warmth a grandmother has. She welcomed everyone to her house. She loved to decorate, especially for every holiday, she would get out all her decorations for the holidays coming up. Mary loved to listen to music, she would sing and dance, whether it was country, Mexican music, hip hop, or any genre, she would start "getting her boogy on" as she would say.
Mary is preceded in death by Frank B. Vindiola her former husband of 64 years.
