Maria Elena Morales, a.k.a. Mary Helen, 61, of Tucson, AZ passed away October 8, 2025. Maria was born in Hollister, California. She was a beloved mother, grandma, sister, cousin, aunt and niece. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and friend. She may not have had a lot but she was always willing to help or give anything she could if you asked her. She loved to spend time with her grandkids, build forts, make messes and help them build everything they could imagine up. She was always the life of the party. She was a protector of all who needed and wanted it.

Maria is survived by her father Jose D. Morales Jr. of New Mexico, her son Jared Morales of Arizona and her daughter Danielle A. Hanna (Sam) of New Mexico, her older sister Judy Marquez (Robert) of New Mexico, her younger sister Annette Morales of Arizona, her brother Jose D. Morales III of New Mexico and her god-parents. She is also survived by her grandchildren Miguel, TJ Paul, Jared Jr., Julian, and Samuel. Maria is preceded in death by her mother Aurora Alcorta Cuevas, step-father Paul Cuevas, her God-son Michael David Luna Jr., and many more family members.
