Martha G Lamkin Godinez

Martha G. Godinez, a shining light, entered eternal life on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at the age of 69. Surrounded by love, she passed peacefully at home with her son Enrique by her side. Born on July 29th, 1955, in Bisbee, AZ, to Angela and Guillermo Godinez, Martha's life was a testament to the power of love and family. While she was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, including Regina Gay, Henry Hernandez, Ceclia (Cindy) Kennedy, Jesse Hernandez, and Rene Marinez, her legacy lives on through her five children, Enrique, Jaime, Guillermo, Angela, and Martha Ramirez. As a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren, Martha's impact will continue to inspire future generations. Her siblings, Becky Barber, Irene DiMaggio, and Artemisa Wright, will deeply miss her. Martha's passion for life was contagious, and her love for cooking, playing bingo, and caring for others will be deeply missed. As a dedicated Patient Care Technician at Banner University and caregiver, Martha embodied the values of compassion and empathy. A Memorial Service will be held on June 7th, 2025, at Avenida's Cremation & Burial, 1376 West Saint Marys Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745, followed by a potluck gathering to celebrate her life.
