In Loving Memory of Marcus Andrew Felix
August 24, 1971 – August 27, 2025
Marcus Andrew Felix, 54, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2025. Born on August 24, 1971, in Anaheim, California. He was raised by his loving parents, Noreen and Jose Felix along side his brothers, Paul Felix and David Felix. Marcus lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was a proud United States Navy veteran and faithfully served his country as an Intelligence Specialist at the Joint Intelligence Center, Pacific, in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Joining the Navy in 1992, he embraced every challenge and opportunity with courage, honor, and dedication. His service took him across oceans and around the world, where he developed a lifelong love for the sea, in the islands of Hawaii, and learned to embody the spirit of Aloha.
While stationed in Honolulu, Marcus discovered his passion for scuba diving, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Yet, his greatest joy came from the moments spent with his family — especially his beloved children, Jacob and Rhiannon Felix. Marcus poured his heart into creating lasting memories and traditions that continue to live on through them.
Marcus’s spirit was rooted in love and joy. He will be remembered for his service, his laughter, his adventurous soul, and his unwavering love to his family and friends. His legacy continues in the traditions he built, the lessons he shared, and the lives he touched.
Marcus is survived by his children, Jacob and Rhiannon Felix; his grandchildren, Logan and Oliver Felix, his mother, Mary Noreen Felix; and his brother, Paul Anthony Felix. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He is now reunited in the kingdom of God with his father Jose Felix and his brother David Felix, who are rejoicing in their reunion together as we speak. He will always be remembered and loved and we will hold his memory close until we see him again.
As we say Aloha ʻoe — “a gentle goodbye until we meet again” — as we remember Marcus with deep love and gratitude. His kindness, laughter, and Aloha spirit will live within us every day. We will see his spirit in every ocean breeze and every sunset sky.
“Aloha”
“Aloha means farewell to thee
Aloha means Good-Bye;
It means until we meet again
Beneath a tropic sky
Aloha means Good Morning,
And always to be true.
But the best thing that Aloha means,
Is l love you”
