Louie Z. Stockmeyer Jr., 78, entered God's Kingdom on June 2, 2025. Born on July 21, 1946, Louie lived a life of deep devotion to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sookie Stockmeyer; his children, Evelia (Neil) Buffler and Louie (Susana) Stockmeyer III. Louie had eight grandchildren; Cassandra, Louie IV, Richard, Savanna, Sabrina, Karl, Raymond & Alicia and seven great-grandchildren; Timothy, Victor, Anthony, Hector, Richie, Marielli, & Eleanor who brought joy and pride into his life. Louie was so excited to learn two days before his passing that there would be two additional great-grandchildren joining the family. He was a dedicated family man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and the people he loved most.

Louie had a generous heart, an open home where he and Sookie raised three generations, and he welcomed others without hesitation. His humor, laughter, and perfectly timed jokes brought joy to those around him.

Louie's final wishes were for no public services to be held. The family will honor his wishes and gather for a private memorial at a later date to celebrate his life and the amazing legacy he has left behind.
