Lisa Marie Bannister

April 15, 1986 – April 7, 2025

On April 7, 2025, Lisa Marie Bannister passed away peacefully after a long illness, with her devoted husband by her side.

Born in Southern California on April 15, 1986, Lisa spent her early years in Arizona before moving to Quincy, Massachusetts at the age of 16. A bright and determined student, she earned a degree in Paralegal Studies from Quincy College and later graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in Accounting.

On May 3, 2012, Lisa married the love of her life, Charles Bannister, in the wedding of her dreams. Their journey together took them from Middleboro, MA all across the country, and eventually brought them full circle to Arizona—a place Lisa had always hoped to call home again.

Lisa was a creative soul with a deep appreciation for life’s whimsical and imaginative sides. She had a special fondness for Renaissance Fairs, where she showcased her talent for sewing beautiful, elaborate costumes. She adored all things Alice in Wonderland, had a playful love for gnomes, and enjoyed the quirky humor of Rick and Morty. Her intelligence, humor, and kindness were the threads that wove together the fabric of her relationships and made her so dearly cherished.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Bannister, of Middleboro, MA; her father, Leo McCarthy of Quincy, MA; her best friend Michelle Davey of Taunton, MA; her parents-in-law Lynn and Hugo Bannister of Middleboro, MA; and many dear friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Durand.

Lisa touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Her light, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
