March 12, 1957 – February 12, 2025

Kevin Duane Eggers, 67, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Kevin passed of NASH, non-alcoholic liver failure.

Born on March 12, 1957, in Roswell, New Mexico, Kevin eventually settled in Tucson, where he built a fulfilling life. After graduating from college, he began his career at NCR, where he met his future business partner, Lou. Together, they co-founded American Point of Sale, successfully running the business for 25 years and forming lasting relationships along the way. A dedicated leader and mentor, Kevin held many leadership positions in his church, on the school board, and in his daughters’ activities—including serving as a beloved Girl Scout dad.

Kevin excelled academically and in leadership roles throughout his life. While attending college, he was secretary of his Delta Sigma Pi fraternity and earned membership in both the Blue Key and Phi Kappa Phi honor fraternities. As a youth, he achieved Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, which is the rank just below Eagle Scout.

Outside of work and service, Kevin had many passions, including cheering for the University of Arizona Wildcats and the New England Patriots, fishing, playing board games and cards, and street football. Kevin loved to travel and photograph and video everything. He was fond of playing chess and strategically calculated every move. His love for adventure and community was evident in everything he did.

Above all, Kevin was a devoted husband, father, and Pa. He shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved high school sweetheart, Karen. He was a proud father to Michelle Vega (Carlos) and Renee Williams (John) and a loving Pa to Zack, Eli, Larissa, and Bobby. He is also survived by his siblings David & Angie Eggers of Texas, Roger & Charmaine Eggers of Oklahoma, Donald & Donna Ashby of New Mexico, and Steve & Michele Ashby of Texas. Kevin also had

9 nieces and nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews which he loved endlessly. Kevin loved his cousins and extended family very much and cherished the many friendships he had in life. He is preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Wilma (aka Harry and Darlene) Eggers of New Mexico.
