Kathy’s love for helping people began as an educator with an education degree from Wheelock College, in Boston. She was an elementary school teacher in Tucson, AZ & later became the director of a pre-school, followed by stay-@-hm Mom, family caregiver, community volunteer, & talented watercolor artist. Her life motto she taught her students & us all was exemplified by living out the Biblical golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Besides loving God & her family deeply, she truly loved people & shall be remembered by the incredibly special way she made them feel. She’ll forever leave an imprint on our hearts, as she was gifted with a magnetic personality that ignited positive joy through loving & serving others. Generosity & kindness came naturally to her, since her inherent love language was truly loving her neighbors as herself. Her big beautiful smile, cute giggle, & radiant spirit will be etched in our hearts forever.
Kathy’s family would like to thank the special “longtime” friends who frequently visited her bedside & express our deep gratitude for their loyal friendships. With much appreciation, we also thank the kind & compassionate staff @ “Starfish Care Homes” in Tucson, AZ.
The family is planning a private Celebration of Life gathering Nov. 8th, in AZ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to plant a memorial tree, or donate to Multiple Sclerosis, (to benefit her son) @ https://msfocus.org
