John Manuel Armenta

John Manuel Armenta, 81, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Tucson, AZ with his loving family by his side. John “Juan” was born in Naco, Sonora and moved to Naco, AZ in 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel & Delfina Armenta, his sister Olga Gutierrez, brothers in law Charles Sanders, Luis Gutierrez, Modesto Barron, and Azarias Ortega. John is survived by his siblings Josefina Barron, Amanda (Henry) Martinez, Alicia Sanders, Ramon (Esperanza) Armenta, Margaret (Rene) Varela, Alma Ortega, and numerous nephews, nieces and many other relatives.

John, “Johnny”, loved his music and loved his favorite place “The Gay 90’s” where he was well known and loved. He was so very stylish and loved to dress up.

While he will be greatly missed, Juan will LIVE on in our memories, and through fond stories.

Services will be held in Tucson, AZ at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:00 am. He will later be laid to rest in Naco, Sonora.

John Manuel Armenta, de 81 años, falleció el miércoles 26 de marzo de 2025 en Tucson, Arizona, acompañado de su querida familia. John “Juan” nació en Naco, Sonora y se mudó a Naco, Arizona, en 1956. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Manuel y Delfina Armenta; su hermana, Olga Gutiérrez; sus cuñados, Charles Sanders; Luis Gutiérrez; Modesto Barrón; y Azarías Ortega. Le sobreviven sus hermanos, Josefina Barrón; Amanda (Henry) Martínez; Alicia Sanders; Ramón (Esperanza) Armenta; Margaret (René) Varela; Alma Ortega; y numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y muchos otros familiares.

John, “Johnny”, amaba la música y su lugar favorito, “The Gay 90’s”, donde era muy conocido y querido. Era muy elegante y le encantaba vestirse elegante.

Aunque lo extrañaremos mucho, Juan vivirá en nuestros recuerdos y a través de muchísimas historias. Los servicios se llevarán a cabo en Tucson, Arizona, en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Fátima, el jueves 10 de abril de 2025 a las 11:00 a. m. Posteriormente, será sepultado en Naco, Sonora.

La muerte se lleva el cuerpo.

Dios se lleva el alma.

Nuestra mente guarda los recuerdos.

Nuestro corazón guarda el amor.

Nuestra fe nos hace saber que nos volveremos a encontrar.

Que descanse en paz eterna.
