Jennifer Lynn Romo,57, died in the peace and comfort of her home surrounded by and visited by many people that loved her. She was born June 6, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois; the daughter to Theresa Lungaro and Otto Braun and sister to her surviving brother, Mark.
Jennifer moved to Tucson shortly after high school where she met her husband, Martin Romo Sr, in September of 1990 and was wedded for 31 years. Together, they had two sons, Martin II and Eric Romo whom were her pride and joy. She often reminisced on the crazy and busy years of raising two boys with Marty Sr. and laughed at all of the ridiculous things her boys would get into. Jennifer cherished her marriage, danced often with her husband and celebrated life and many accomplishments together with the never-ending support of one another. Marty Sr was and will always remain her best friend.
Jennifer worked in the mortgage industry for approximately 30 years where she made many close friends and did a lot of traveling to places such as Texas and Chicago where she would visit her family. Jennifer enjoyed camping, relaxing on the boat as her husband cruised the water, drag races, hosting family & friend gatherings and playing cards. Jennifer was always the most welcoming and lovable person in any room and she loved any excuse for a gathering with her family and friends. You could always find her behind a camera or phone taking pictures. Her most proud accomplishment was becoming a Nonna to her four grandchildren; Easton, Aria, Elliana and Martin III.
Jennifer is described by her friends and family as a wild child, the life of the party, a loud and proud Italian, loving, loyal, free spirited, family oriented, and a mother to many. She had a heart filled with unconditional love that stretched across the states to many people. Look for the yellow butterflies around you and you will see she has not left us.
A service will be held at Sensible Cremation and Funerals at 109 W Grant Rd on November 19, 2023 from 3:00-6:00 pm following a Celebration of Life at Famous Sam's 7129 E Golf Link's Rd.
