It is with heavy hearts and deep respect that we announce the passing of Herbert Wilson Coleman, a true legend — a loving soul with the heart of a lion, the hands of a protector, and the spirit of a warrior. Herbert departed this life on July 10 2025 at the age of 62, surrounded by love, memories, and stories that will echo for generations.

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Herbert was known for his fearless strength, unwavering loyalty, and unapologetic authenticity. A proud product of the streets, Herbert carried the title of a “gangster”. Not just as a reputation, but as a code of honor — never backing down, always standing tall, and protecting what mattered most: family, respect, and loyalty.

But behind the tough exterior was a heart that loved deeply. Herbert was a provider, a mentor, a friend, and the kind of person who gave without hesitation. Whether it was a plate of food, a hard truth, or a shoulder to lean on, Herbert always came through.

Herbert leaves behind a legacy carved in love and resilience. Herbert is survived by his parents LC and Ida Coleman, siblings , Betty, Ida, James, papa, Yolanda, Carry Anne, Sarah Anne, Betty Jean and Shirley Ann . Herbert was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews and as well as a host of extended family, lifelong friends, and street brothers and sisters who became family through blood, sweat, and bond.

We’ll remember the stories, the laughs, the lessons, and the look that told you, “I got you.” Herbert your strength was unmatched, your love unshakable, and your presence unforgettable.

Rest easy, OG. Your legacy lives on.
