Glenn Edward Paxton

Glenn Edward Paxton, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 9, 2025 in Tucson Arizona. He was born 10/15/1936 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to Minerva and Carl Paxton. He is survived by a brother (David), three daughters (Carla, Valerie, and Jennifer), and 7 grandkids (Ryan, Samantha, Tanner, Connor, Jenna, Chloe, and Ethan)

He graduated from college with an electrical engineering associate degree after which he worked for the Department of Defense programming flight simulators.

Glenn married the late Barbara Della Rocca in 1964 in San Diego and they eventually moved to Tucson for his job, where they raised a family.

Glenn loved attending church, both in San Diego and Tucson, and enjoyed bible study and chatting with his church family. He was extremely proud of designing and building his energy efficient home in the Tucson foothills. He was a gearhead owning both a '57 Corvette and '57 T-bird, attending car shows all over Arizona. He believed in family connections, and sponsored many "Bank of Dad" vacations, which included his 3 daughters with their families.

Family and friends who wish to remember and celebrate Glenn's life are invited to St. Albans Episcopal church (3738 N Old Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750) from 10am to 12pm on Saturday December 6, 2025 to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
