Elizabeth (Liz, Lizzy, Fizzy, Frenchy) was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1955 and lived in Superior, Arizona from 1959 to 1968.
She moved back to Tucson where she graduated from Tucson High School and went on to study Music at Pima Community College. She had many beloved friends from her high school and college days including Linda Peters (Sivo), who was her partner in crime, other classmates/colleagues, former teachers, professors, and many wonderful souls who have remained in touch and became part of her extended family.
Liz worked 5 years as a bookkeeper with her last employer Arizona Tree and Landscape Services, Inc. She had many work friends including Ron Walcot, Michelle Vega and Natasha Ferrell.
Liz was a beautiful soul who cared for 5 indoor cats including her beloved Pumpkin Pie and Kip, her two precious dogs, Cheeno (Chip) and Shiela, many wild birds, and many outdoor feral cats.
She truly cared about the plight of the less fortunate and believed in helping everyone and every living being she could. She even saved her socks from the hospital to donate to the homeless.
Liz will always hold a very special place in the hearts of many people around the world who she communicated with on Facebook, group chats and through games she liked to play online. Her soul shined with a light and warmth that drew people to her. She is truly and deeply missed and loved beyond measure.
Liz has asked that we do not have a formal memorial service. She instead asks that we listen to “In My Life” by the Beatles, have a margarita, celebrate her life with love and laughter, and to go on living our lives. She wanted everyone to know that she loved us all individually and uniquely and will remain near to cheer us all on. Rest in Eternal Peace, Dear Liz and may perpetual light shine on you always!
