Elizabeth Cohen passed away on May 31, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Green Valley, Arizona for over twenty years after spending her adult life in Northern, Virginia working hard as an entrepreneur and successful real estate professional to achieve the life she dreamed of and always desired.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick B. Tagg, Jr., her husband Robert Cohen, her daughter Linda Mary, her sister Ellen, her brothers Al and Bobby, and her dogs Peanut and Charlie —all beloved sets of them.
She is survived by her children Rick Tagg, Lisa Claydon, Eileen Mary Murdock; her stepchildren Mark Cohen, Steve Cohen, Karyle Tong; her grandchildren Harrison Murdock, Erin Murdock, Elizabeth Claydon, Ryan Tagg; great grandchildren Finn and Theo; and siblings Paul, Anne, Mary, and Eddie.
Elizabeth—or Ebe as her friends and family called her—loved to read, to travel, and to laugh. She was a patron of the arts especially the theater and the symphony. An avid Sudoku puzzler and Scrabble player, Ebe enjoyed challenging herself and engaging others. She volunteered her time to help and support many charitable organizations throughout her retirement. She spent many happy, healthy, and active years at La Posada in Green Valley, Arizona particularly with her dear friend and companion Bill.
Vibrant and often delightful and generous, Ebe lived life on her own terms. She will always be remembered and never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
