Edward Louis Bagnaschi

Edward Louis Bagnaschi Jr, 66, of Tucson AZ, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2023 after a short but very aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on July 19, 1957 in Meriden CT to Edward and Phyllis (Muscatello) Bagnaschi and spent the majority of his life in CT until retiring to AZ in 2010. Edward is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bernice Bagnaschi of Tucson AZ, his three children, Michelle Sansoucie of Melbourne Australia, Jessica Sansoucie and her husband Jay Velez Pino of Tucson AZ, Edward Bagnaschi III and his wife Jenny of Colorado Springs CO, as well his four grandchildren, Ethan Scott, Eva Bagnaschi, Jewel Bagnaschi and Cameron Giddens. In addition, he is survived by his sister Elisa DellaVecchia of Ormond Beach, FL as well as numerous cousins. Ed was a people person. Every place he went he made friends. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, loved enjoying a slice of Pepe's sausage pizza from New Haven CT, going on daily walks, and joking and laughing with friends and family. In his retirement years, Ed enjoyed volunteering at hospitals, traveling with his wife, making new friends and spending time with his family. Due to his unexpected departure his funeral arrangements will be private. A celebration of life will be privately held in Colorado Springs, May 2024. Edward will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
