Edward “Brouck” Haynes

Brouck was born in Hollywood, California, on March 25, 1943 and died in Tucson, Arizona, on January 3, 2025. He grew up in Vista, California, and moved around the United States, calling the Napa Valley home and enjoying his last eight years in Green Valley.

After serving in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, Brouck returned to California. Attending the University of California at Santa Cruz, he began an amazing journey. Before, during and after a satisfying, successful career in the tech world, both for major corporations and with his own companies, he pursued his passions. He became a professional diver, a blue water sailor, a racing sailboat captain, a pilot, a photographer and more. The great joy in his life came from being part of a loving fellowship, a place to share his story and the experiences of his companions. Brouck gave freely of his expertise with kindness and consideration.

Brouck is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Green Valley, his stepsons Ben Sange and Charlie Sange, of Napa, California, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his sister Nancy (David) Conley of Idaho and brothers Craig Barcus of Queen Creek and Cary Barcus of Florida.

He leaves behind a wealth of loving memories and the strength and hope he shared so generously.
