Catherine Marie Clark

On April 13th, Palm Sunday, Catherine Marie (Hayes) Clark crossed triumphantly through the gates of New Jerusalem with Jesus. Born on September 8, 1952 in Wiesbaden Germany, Cathy was one of six children of John and Sarah Hayes. Cathy was known for her love a new adventures and her delicious “kitchen sink” soups. Cathy served in roles of nursing, community activist, prayer warrior and genealogy researcher. But her most appreciated roles were as a wonderful wife of 43 years to her husband Brian and as loving mother to her sons Robert and John. Whether it be exploring new trails around Tucson in her Toyota truck or exploring all the museums in Edinburgh, Cathy’s love of life kept all of those around her active and blessed. While she will be greatly missed, we know she is off to great new adventures in heaven. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah and bothers Chris and Mark. In addition to her husband Brian and sons Robert and John, Cathy is survived by her brothers Rick, Paul and Tom, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, located at 11575 N 1st Ave, Oro Valley, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona or Amity Foundation.
