Carol Lynn Constan

Carol Lynn Constan, 63, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on January 17th, 2025.

Carol was born on October 20th, 1961 to Clarance and Lillian Constantakis in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. After graduating high school, she went on to obtain a B.A. at Loretto Heights College. She met her husband, Steven Dvorak, in Lakewood, Colorado and they married in 1985 in Lakewood, Colorado. Carol moved to Tucson with her husband Steve in 1989. Approximately one year later, their only child, Justin Dvorak, was born.

Carol enjoyed cooking, stamping, gardening, swimming, camping, and church activities. Some of her favorite memories included camping in a trailer with Justin and Steve on beaches in Mexico and California, and in the mountains in Arizona. One of Carol’s favorite places to visit was Disney Land. She loved animals and throughout her life had five loving dogs, and 4 wonderful cats. But most of all, she enjoyed being a mom.

Carol was predeceased by her mother Lillian Constantakis and her sister Anna Ritsema. She is survived by her husband Steven Dvorak, her son Justin Dvorak, her father Clarence Constantakis, her sisters Victoria Constan and Paula Young, and her brothers Robert Constantakis and Jeffery Constantakis.

Carol requested a private gathering instead of a funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PBS (Public Broadcast Network) or ETWN (Global Catholic Television Network), organizations Carol felt strongly about.
