Maria Del Carmen Delgado Vallejo, 56, lived in Tucson, AZ sadly left us December 09, 2023, in her home. Carmen was born in Nuevo Laredo, Durango, Mexico on August 6th, 1967, moved to Tucson, AZ when she was five years Old. She went to Cragin Elementary, Doolen Middle school, and Catalina High School. She was a hard worker, achieved her dreams. She was employed with Beacon Group as a Job Coach from 2000. Carmen had a passion for assisting people with developmental disabilities. Her experiences helped with many opportunities working for Tucson residential foundation as a mentor, working in group homes and with different clients from Beacon. In 2016 she started her own group home for adults with disabilities. In 2019 Carmen fell Ill where she had to end her career with Beacon early and be placed on long term disability. Carmen will be missed for the love of Betty Boop, love for her favorite music artists Ramon Ayala, Jenni Rivera and being the life of the party. What will be missed more is hearing her laugh and seeing her smile. She followed in passing by the love her life Enrique “Henry” Vallejo who died on June 4th, 2023, Abuelos Petrolina Rodriguez and Preciliano Delgado, Maria De la Torre Negrete, Jesus and Concepcion Negrete, Sister Baby Juanita and Brother Ramonsito Delgado, Niece: Victoria Delgado, Nephew: Mark, Mike, Humberto “Tito” and Bernabe “Bernie” Jr Delgado. Carmen was blessed and survived by Parents Rafael R & Concepcion N Delgado, Brothers: Bernabe “Bernie” (Lourdes), Humberto “Beto” (Virginia “Gina”), Rafael “Rafa”, Ricardo “Richie” Delgado, sisters: Maria “Lil” Delgado (Arturo), Susana “Susy” Delgado (Hugo), Petrina Delgado, Cecilia (Erik) Diaz. Carmen survived by Stepdaughter: Rebecca Perkins Vallejo, Daughter: Maria De Lourdes Vallejo (Nely Botello), Sons: Enrique Ramon SR, Daniel, Alejandro, Jacobo Vallejo. Also survived by Step Grandchildren: William Perkins, Brian Perkins, Angela Martinez, Anna Vega, and Alexis Perkins, Grandchildren: Yaritza and Enrique Ramon Jr Vallejo. Funeral will be January 5th, 2024, at Saint Kateri Takawitha Parish 507 W 29Th St, Tucson, AZ 85713 starting 5:00 PM to 8 PM. Followed on January 6th, 2024, same parish Mass will start at 10:00AM and followed Burial 11:30 AM at Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery. Funeral Preparations arranged by Avenidas Cremation & Burial. Mom and Dad, you will forever be in our hearts, you’re gone but will never be forgotten.
