In Loving Memory of Bernard P. Matthey III (Paul)

Bernard P. Matthey III, lovingly known as Paul, passed away on August 21, 2025. Paul’s life was a gift to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, and the way he made everyone feel valued and loved. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort, and his spirit will continue to live on in the lives he touched.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Joan Matthey, his beloved daughters Amanda Matthey and Samantha Matthey, and his cherished granddaughter Sedona Trychon. Paul’s greatest joy was his family, and his love for them will remain an everlasting legacy.

A service celebrating Paul’s life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 1:00 pm at Casas Church, 10801 N La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85742, with a reception to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather in love, remembrance, and gratitude for a life so well lived.
