It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Arturo Espinoza, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, on November 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Born on October 15, 1947 in Morenci, AZ, he lived a life defined by service, hard work, integrity, and kindness.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Arturo served with distinction as a Network Communications Systems Specialist, ensuring critical connections remained strong throughout his military career. His honorable service earned him several commendations, including the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Superior Public Service Medal. Arturo’s devotion to his country was rivaled only by his deep commitment to his family.

Following his military service, he dedicated more than 35 years to the copper mines, where he became known for his steadfast work ethic, resilience, and unwavering dedication.

Arturo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life reflected honesty, perseverance, humor, and the dignity of hard work. He cherished simple joys—morning errands with his beloved wife, afternoons at the park feeding ducks, quiet moments reading the Bible, and time spent with his pet rabbit, Sniffles. He found fulfillment in fixing cars, lending a hand to the homeless, and above all, being with his family. Known for his favorite saying, “Money doesn’t grow on trees,” he once laughed when one of his children buried money just to test the phrase. Arturo never missed a chance to remind his children how proud he was of them, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith.

His unwavering devotion to his faith and his longing to bring light to those in need revealed a spirit both joyful and generous. Together with his beloved wife, he embraced the sacred journey of parenthood, guiding his children in the ways of the Lord—teaching them to love deeply, serve faithfully, and place their trust in Him always. Today, Arturo rests in the embrace of the Savior, released from pain and sorrow, and rejoices eternally in the presence of the Almighty.

He is survived by his spouse, Stella Espinoza, Tucson, AZ. two siblings Jeannie Espinoza Goodson of Clifton, AZ. Gloria E Mackey of Safford AZ and four children, Arthur Espinoza, Jr of Tucson, AZ. Elvira Espinoza and Grandson MJ of Denver, CO. Laurene Espinoza and Dave Shöve of Tucson, AZ.
