Arthur William Platt

Arthur William Platt, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend; passed away on September 9, 2023, in his home at the age of 68. Arthur was born in Glendale, AZ on February 3, 1955, to Arthur William Platt Sr & Dorothy Lavon Platt.  Arthur was known for his big heart, smile, kindness, love of God and sense of humor. Arthur accepted all those around him, blood or not, he saw everyone close to him as family. He was a very caring and loving man. Arthur attended Cabrillo High school in Lompoc, California where he joined the wrestling team. After high school he attended Phoenix University where he received his associates degree in E business. Arthur worked at Duval Mines and was a customer service rep. for health care. Arthur loved to play chess, ping pong, and handball. He loved calligrahy and made amazing macrame creations. He is survived by his wife Miguelina Platt, and sisters; Jocelyn Kemp, Kotane Gilbert, Wynona Mixon, Latonya Johnson, Valerie Hunter and brothers; Edward Jones, Jimmy Holland, Stephen Platt, Anthony Platt, Daryl Miles, and many more family/friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Lavon Jones-Holland, Arthur Platt Sr. and Edward Jones (stepfather), William Holland (stepfather) and Mary Platt (sister) all whom undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in heaven. We will love & miss you, until we meet again.
