Anthony Lee Roubound, born on June 14, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts, peacefully passed away on July 25, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. He spent his formative years growing up in Norwell, Massachusetts, where his passion for architecture was ignited and blossomed throughout his professional career.
Anthony had a deep passion for travel, often exploring destinations that fed his love for music and culture. His fondness for jazz concerts led him to La Jolla and symphonic performances in illustrious halls around the world, with Amsterdam holding a special place in his heart.
In recent years, Anthony cherished moments spent traveling to Denmark and Sweden with his beloved wife, Nancy, a journey filled with new experiences and cherished memories. He was an avid cyclist, frequently riding his road bike 15 to 30 miles on multiple occasions each week. A favorite route included rides along the Rillito, where he found both joy and tranquility. Anthony also enjoyed memorable cycling trips with a close-knit group of friends, cycling through picturesque landscapes in Prague and beyond.
Anthony is survived by his devoted spouse, Nancy Roubound; his daughter, Amy Roubound; his son, Matt Roubound; and his sister, Lise O'Brien. Each of them carries forward the warmth of his spirit and the memories of the joyful times spent together.
A memorial service to celebrate Anthony's life will be held on August 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, located at 8625 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, AZ 85749. Family, friends, and those whose lives he touched are invited to gather in reflection and remembrance of a remarkable man who lived fully and loved deeply.
